Thrissur Pooram

	Thrissur Pooram : It is renowned as ‘Pooram of Poorams’ . Thrissur pooram celebrated at the Vadakkumnath temple in the centre of the Thrissur city. Thrissur pooram is celebrated every year in the month of Medam(mid April to Mid May)as per Malayalam Calender. Hudnreds of elephants, nettipattam, panchavadyam and fireworkds are the main attraction of the festival.  Processions of decorated elephants accompanied the festival from various negihbouring temple inlcludinog Paramekkavu Bhagavathy temple and Thiruvambadi Sri Krishna Temple.  Vadakkumnatha Temple Paramekavu
